Preview :

This is the big one Rashford vs Mbappe, I think the 2 best young talents into the world lock horns.

This Man Utd players are actually becoming to know how good they are playing with the flair and the freedom.

After an 11 unbeaten run this is a testing spell. PSG were knocked out of the Champions League against RM at the last 16 stage.

We are now more than a match for any team in Europe. Should we manage to win and get a clean sheet it will be brilliant.

When you play the first leg at home it's important to keep a clean sheet. Clean sheets are important in this ties.

Neymar injured took it's toll on PSG so it Mbappe and Canavari to look at.

I'll take a 1-0 home win but I can't imagine if we lose. Can we keep a clean sheet. I. Think. we can.

Ole will have his tactics spot on and he should know how to get PSG. Ole is becoming a. tactically stout manager.

I'm going on current form and I think that if we get the early goal we could score a second on the counter.

Player to watch: Paul Pogba, he is a world class driving force in the midfield.

DDG

Young. Bailly Linderlof. Shaw

Herrera. Matic. Pogba

Lingaard. Rashford. Martial

Subs: Romero, Smalling, Mata, Sanchez, Lakuku, Jones,

Prediction: 2-0, Home win. Man Utd to score. Early and get one on the counter attack.

This is the biggest test yet. I'm much more positive than I was under Jose, but at some point this team is going to lose a game. I really hope this isn't the game.

Very few choices to make
Who will be the right back?Lindelof,Young or Bailey
Who will be the centre halves? Bailey,Jones,Smalling,Lindelof
I watch with interest whether we go as gang ho as we have been or will Ole go a bit more defensive
The following pick themselves
DDG in goal
Shaw at left back
Midfield Matic,Pogba,Herrera and Jesse
Forwards are Martial and Rashford

So Oles problems are centre half choices, right back choices and tactics

Only one position in doubt, I would have thought.
Young will be at LB and it is just who will partner Lindelof.
Bailly most likely, I would guess.

Ole might spring a surprise in the forwards, depending on the technical analysis of the way PSG play, with either Sanchez or more probably Lukaku preferred to Martial to start, if he reckons that PSG have got cutting in from the left covered.

Well, after Neymar, also Cavani out at least for the first leg. Apparently injured himself during taking the penalty. Significant boost. We need to win the first leg without conceding.

This is the first game since Ole took over where keeping a clean sheet might more important that scoring. With Netmar and Cavani likely to miss the Old Trafford leg Tuchel faces some difficult selection choices on offense. I also read that Meunier (RB) will also missing the game because of a clash of head at the end Bordeaux game, if true Martial has to be doing back flips. With the Injuries Tuchel may be tempted to park-the-bus, try to hit a quick counter goal from Mbappe or DiMaria and take the game back to Paris.

What I think Ole will do is play his best 11 in the style that works best for them. The only question for me is who will pair up with Lindelöf; Jones or Bailly. I get the impression that Ole feels more comfortable with Jones with the ball at his feet than with Bailly.
DeGea
Young Bailly Lindelöf Shaw
Herrera Matic Pogba
Lindgard Rashford Martial

I am wondering what games Ole will decide to give the excellent Romero a run out.
I hope it is not this one, but Romero is one heck of a second string.

You can think of him what you like and I am not saying anything about his ability but it is like saying “when did Matt Busby give the excellent David Sadler a run out instead of Denis Law”
The answer is “ when the world number one in that position is injured

I would suggest United will never have a better chance of beating PSG than now

Which competition was it Jose was playing Romero in?
I can't remember, but know he was first choice in that.

It was the FA cup except for the final and the Europa cup final, apparently:

My interest at the time had been pretty much Jose'd.

Man City trashing Chelsea 6-0 puts us in the Champions league places with an equal number of games played now.

If we can hang on to that, and I can't see why we can't with the way we are playing, Ole has got to have exceeded his remit.

I think winning is a habit. So hopefully this habit will die hard. We have talent in this team.

This. Having a look at their injuries, this is 100% true.

Imagine back in December when the draw came out, someone told you we'd almost be favourites.

At thus stage it's a case of guarding against complacency and just doing the right thing. Don't have a bad day.

Despite PSG missing few key players, it's foolish to say we are favourites. They still have Mbpappe who is probably one of the best players in the world.

It'll be a rocking atmostphere, I don't think there's been a CL game i've looked forward like this.

Nervous.

While I still do not consider us favorites for this game I am nowhere near as apprehensive as I was when the draw was first announced. The last CL game I was anticipating this much has to be Madrid game where Nani was sent off.

He did not say we were favorites.
The team strength and most likely chemistry has been dented by their injuries. Add Meunier now to the list. I think you're able to optimistically look forward to this game because of these unfortunate circumstances for them. Lucky for us we are back in the tie just.
