This is the best part of the comment from the CEO;
"But let's treat this beautiful city with the respect that it deserves, and act in a manner that is befitting of LFC.
Umm, that's exactly what they are doing, no one expects anymore out of Liverpool fans.

Messi made them suffer tonight. How fitting that his 600th goal was a thing of rare beauty and against the perfect opponents! :)

At least they're throwing fans into fountains now, rather than throwing walls on top of them

Fair play to them. Credit where credit's due. Saw this on BBC, made me lol:

Would Liverpool finishing 2nd after losing one game all season and getting a ridiculous 97pts and losing the CL final to Spurs be the most heart breaking season of all time?

At least they're an actual football club - I suspected watching Barca vs us that they would do a number on Barca - the first leg score flattered Barca, and the second leg, they were too much.

Wake up and smell the coffee... City and Liverpool are currently the 2 best clubs in the world, and we're 6th!!!

Unbelievable.. I didn't watch the game.. Just followed the score.. This will go down in history as probably one of the greatest comebacks ever. I know it has happened in the past but they did it against Barcelona..
Unfcukingbelievable

Unfortunately there's nothing left to hope for this season so Image

They will win the UCL .. Their confidence is high after this epic comeback. Plus they'll be furious for finishing 2nd in the EPL and will be motivated to get a trophy.
Citi will win the league.. Liverpool UCL ..

And not only 6th but a poor 6th and still going backwards
It looks like we are about to lose the two potentially good players we have and there appears,to me,to not be the slightest desire from the owners to improve the club
Why should they spend when Ed Woodward confirms they don't have to

I predict a smoke and mirrors shirt seller or two(like Bale or Muller) plus a young unknown with potential for about £25m added to some muttering about decided to bring the academy to the front in about 5 years
I predict the papers will be fed some bullshit about us being in for every top class player that moves this summer followed by more bullshit about Ole having available as much as he needs for the next transfer window at Xmas
That will change into "no value in the winter market" followed by wait and see for summer 2020 at which time Ole gets the bullet
You have seen it several times here and many times at Tampa Bay
They make fortunes. Why would/should they change?

I predict that if Wolves, not a bad team already invest wisely along with anybody else we will have a real battle to keep this club in the top 6 next year
Of course that will be Ole's fault which is why i predict he will get the bullet by the end of next season
The club won't worry because by then he will have brought in enough Norwegians on the Thomas Cook ipad branch to have cost the Glazers nothing even if they have to pay his extra year off

Told ya ..

Congrats to Liverpool BTW.. They had a fantastic season. Would've been atrocious to finish the season without a trophy.. It's well deserved.
Especially Klop.. What a great manager.

Did we know it would be Spurs by the time he made the prediction though? Too lazy to check but if we didn't, then its a bit more impressive
