Re: Euro 2013

I remember at school there was one girl who ended up playing for Chelsea academy and went on to play for their first womens team. I played against her, albeit at lunchtime quite often and she was very average. In fact I wouldnt even class her as average. That is going off males tbf but we were 15. There were lads there that were ridiculously good, played for academy teams and then played non league. They were totally miles ahead of her and are now not pro or even semi pro.
The gap is just so huge that England womens team would not beat any non league sides imo

1.38m, though this falls to 275,300 when dealing solely with adults. That does make it the third biggest team sport behind mens cricket and mens football though.

Sweden and Italy have qualified from Group A, with Finland crashing out. Somewhat surprisingly Norway topped their group with Germany and Iceland (through being best placed 3rd team) also progressing, knocking the Netherlands out. France have already progressed from group C with any of Spain, England or Russia able to join them.

Denmark currently occupy the second 3rd placed qualifying spot, but only have 2 points. They are guaranteed progression if both France and Spain win. Should England or Russia draw, lots will be drawn to determine which team goes through. Should England win and Spain draw, Spain would qualify in second, but England would also go through as a best placed 3rd team.

England already 1-0 down. This is not a surprise though.

Yeah, 34 mins in. England have been dire. the BBC text thing said it best:

Strains of 'En-ger-land, 'En-ger-land, 'En-ger-land' can be heard around the Linkoping Arena - but they need more than just vocal support at the moment. Divine inspiration would be more apt.

not sure why you're confused.

we played france in our euros last summer, in a group game and we drew 1-1. we didn't get dicked 3-0.

it was just an excuse to have a pop at the women's england team tbh.

Only been watching the second half but the final has been great so far, Germany's goal was a great counter attacking one. Norway have had their chances but just doesn't look like it will be their day.
