I think we can safely say the chat has most definitely dried up in these parts. However, regarding the game, I reckon we should win.
Like you, I understood Ole's decision as he played it safe because we were going away to a big side with their best attacking players back, and thought to go with what worked prior to the break. I mean Spurs has finished above us a good few times now, so they deserved respect - which some fans for whatever reason didn't seem to appreciate prior to the game. He probably didn't anticipate how negative José would be.
But a very good manager anticipates what would happen
Jose was only negative because he went 1 nil up and he always plays defensive at that point.Always has done and at every club he has managed
Even if you don't anticipate you have your best players out at the start
There should be no sentiment in football.SAF had no issue in dropping Beckham and even Giggs if something had happened
By playing Fred and MacTomminay and leaving Pogba on the bench you do two things
You play an inferior quality player and you bruise Pogba's ego
Not a good thing to get the best out of Pogba long term is he is staying
Also by not getting a top centre half to play alongside Maguite and have no intention of looking for one you are exposing your captain week in and week out to playing with mediocrity
You will get away with it against average teams but if you play against top attacking teams you will be exposed
Ole needs to pick up as his record as manager is nothing to shout home about for a so called top team
In 61 games he has won only 30,17 defeats plus 14 draws so a win percentage of less than 50% and a good number of those were against part time opposition in the UEFA cup
As a comparison Klopp has over 60% win record at Liverpool and that includes top European competitions
