What to do about Ighalo

Tue May 26, 2020 6:34 pm

What do you folks reckon?

His contract is due, Man Utd seem to be trying to extend his loan, his club want to sell or nothing, he almost certainly wants to keep playing for United.

Exceeded expectations and gave us something different (which we've sorely missed), but for a very limited amount of time.

Could have been a fluke, or could not have been. I have seen many players come and struggle (particularly when the team was not necessarily having a good season).

I feel sorryfor the lad, living his dream, and looks like he'll have to go back before the restart.

Unfortunately the lads dream is about to end as he wakes up

He is an average footballer working his balls off to try to live his dream
Unfortunately he was the cheapest option, some might say the only option available at the end of the window
It took the flack off Ed Woodward
Now Rashford is back unless Ighalo costs nowt the United will fornicate him off
They are not trying to win anything and there are no shirts to be sold to tourists, pilgrims and Chinese fish fryers
They just want to get any 22 arms,22 legs and 11 dicks in front of the cameras to get the TV money

If only the talented ones in our side worked half as hard...

I don't think you can blame the players for not trying to be fair
An athlete, due to natural combabative nature will almost always give of his best
Where the lines get blurred is usually about money and that brings in agents and owners and the fans have no say whatsoever
If a player is a hero you will forgive him anything and if he is disrespecting your club then we find holes to pick in him
I think it is unfair to accuse any player of not trying but some like Ighalo will give or seem to give that bit more
When you break it down would you rather have a player of limited ability like Ighalo giving you what appears to be 110% but not influencing many games or a fit Pogba giving you what appears to be 80% but influencing many games
Just a thought!!
