upcoming transfers

Thu Oct 17, 2019 9:51 am

Ed Woodward has his spin doctors at it again
The papers are carrying reports that United have accepted they have had a poor recruitement strategy and need a clearout and start again. The rumour is that they are targeting 6 players in the next two windows
One centre half, two midfielders and two forwards and a left back

At first glance this sounds like a positive move in both investment and players until you think it through
First of all there is no mention of the cause of the poor recruitement,Ed Woodward, stepping aside
Then if you believe,as i do,they will sell DDG,Pogba and Rashford for a combined £300m plus, then you can buy 6 players at £50m each
The wages they would save on those 3 compared to the wages they would have to pay to 6 players at £50m will mean a massive saving to the Glazers

Ah,the Glazernomics diatribe again!!!
Well you don't want to hear that as you all know it

Every year, pre window, there's leaks, stories and headlines talking about how much we're gonna spend, how theres going to be a massive overhaul, a new director of football etc

Then absolutely nothing happens when push comes to shove

And when the window closes, when nothing can be done, we hear about how close we came but only excuses on why we didn't

Here's an interesting rumour which you put alongside the days diatribe by Ed Woodward in the Daily Mail
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/footb ... -cent.html

Ed Woodward has finally spoken
Now Dante what he said is diatribe but as everybody knows it i assume you don't want to dicuss
Profit has NEVER come before football FFS
"We have every confidence in Ole as he shares our values of youth and attitude" ie young and cheap
"Whenever i get critised it hurts"-Scpuse Ed(does anybody believe that???

I am hearing that Ole is so easy to manipulate that they are planning on promoting him to director of football
That way it keeps the Norwegians tourists and pilgrims happy and by all have a Bobby Charlton that pays for Ole ie a Glazer budgie cheep cheep

It is an interesting thought and it is doing the internals at the club itself
