Ole-How long has he got??

Fri Oct 04, 2019 9:04 am

Well it is now clear that Ole is not a top class manager so how long has he got
In reality he should never have been appointed but that is because of football managers ability ad the board was looking for somebody to get the fans on board
Ole fitted that bill by being both a hero and a strong commercial asset for the club which is the most important thing to them
As long as the commercialism stays Ole has a good chance of riding out the storm for a while
He brings that many Norwegians over to have a Bobby Charlton that the club has hired Ole's old PA from when he was a player to look after them on a game to game basis. She .When Ole was a player United found him a PA to help his wife and family find their way around Manchester
So what are the negatives
Well Ole has done nothing worthwhile in the management front
His first job was at Manchester United reserves which he doubled up with being a Manchester United ambassador so the club got good value from him
He then went to Cardiff where he got them relegated immediately and got the sack and then went back to Norway and managed a semi pro team.Hardly top drawer is it??

Now he is presiding over a shit team going backwards who has very few players left who have a chance, and of those the top two being DDG and Pogba will both imo be sold before the start of next season
The third,Wan-Bassaka will probably be sold the year after

The other negative and the most disturbing for me is that Ole has become a disillusioned liar.He believes he has the start of a great young team and if he is given 3 years he can prove it.
Also to keep his job he has become a puppet master for Ed Woodward and tells the press and fans whatever is needed to be said
ie "All 11 of these are going"(end of last season)-very few have
"Now that Lukaku has gone Sanchez will get a lot more playing time and i believe he will show us how good he is"-A week later he was out on loan
He will tell you anything you need to hear to protect those abopve him
I understand that.Every year is worth £7m which will set him and his family up for life. After United i feel sure he will go and live back on the ice in Molde and get his old job back
I suspect he will last this season and start the next and without Pogba and DDG it will get worse
Once next season has started, and after the transfer window has closed and after the now obligatory shit start Ole will be forced to leave to be replaced by somebody like Wayne Rooney or a cheap option like Lennon of Celtic or somebody you have never heard of.No top manager will take this job with Ed Woodward,as he will be,still in charge

well,
it's clear the players aren't playing for him.. however we can't just sack managers. I don't think that method is going to work.. we need to be patient, but how much longer? If we finish 10th, I'm sure the fans will be furious.
There's no style, no passion, no tactics, no nothing. It's so flat..

Interesting that i posted only an hour or so ago but i got a call from an ex Manchester United player who was working on the match commentary in The Hague last night
He bumped into Ed Woodward in the team hotel before the game and as there was nobody with Ed Woodward ie his arsewipe Richard Arnold and obviously no Glazer in town as Mrs Glazer wouldn't find The Hague a good shopping venue they sat down and had a coffee
Ed Woodward was apparently bubbling over with Ole's vision and long term plans. He was saying he desperately had to defend him as he was totally convinced that given 2 or 3 years Ole would be seen to be the man
FFS 2 or 3 more years of this and we will be in division 2
