How many new players(at any level) are coming now?

Tue Jun 18, 2019 5:20 pm

Well as the transfer window marches on and just one kid and a lot of puff and smoke,as usual from Ed Woodward what is your prediction on the outcome of this market based on what you know we need and the snippets we have been given

the following are facts
The following players have already left -Herrara and Valencia
The following players left withing the last 12 months and have not been replaced -Carrick and Fellaini
There have been 10 juniors slung along with the manager and have not been replaced
The reason we did not get anybody last winter was because,as reported in an open press conference by Ols "This is Manchester United and we don't go on knee jerks. We plan months ahead and we already know who we want next summer(ie now).**Note.That appears to have gone tits up**

The following players are either out or almost out of contract and are currently showing no signs of signing-DDG,Rashford,Mata

The following player has signed-James

After that we move on to rumours
The following players seem to want a transfer-Pogba ,Lukaku and Darmian
The following players, according to most reports, are not top players.Either they never were or are too old now-Young,Jones,Smalling,Sanchez,Fred

A further rumour,as i cannot confirm it yet is that several realistically untried players are getting first team squad numbers on return to training-Chong,Greenwood,Gomes and possibly Gardner

The number of players we are definately after are-NONE
The players that we realistically expect to get are-Well imo one or two and if one is a shirt seller then that's the end of Pogba

Now when you compare the above to real Madrid who also had a bad year and have already signed
Hazard £90m
Jovic £54m
Militao £45m
Mendy £43m
Rodrygo £40m
Total £272m
They are now ready to go and are still sniffing round Pogba. It does make us look pathetic, yet again

I suppose it's wait and see as usual but who do YOU think will go and more importantly who do YOU think will come

I think very few will come(again) and Ed Woodward will vanish down to London and ride it out whilst his spin doctor will talk to the newspapers about "no value" and "greedy bastards"
the ticket office will continually lie about sold out and you won't hear a word from the Glazers(again)

All the Glazerbots have vanished, for the time being off forums.
Where is Sigmar?
All the optimistic half wits have also vanished.
Where is a coz Goku to cheer us up with back to back predictions of 7 -0 wins for the first 6 games?

Apparently we've been turned down at £70M for Harry Maguire.
Surely there are better centre backs around Europe for less than that?

Of course there are but Ed Woodward knows that £70m WON'T get him
If we were actually after a centre half we would have bid for Virgil and de Ligt
A centre half doesn't sell shirts so it's all the usual smoke and mirrors

On another note Lukaku is a stone and a half overweight apparently
