Ricky Sbragia gone

Thu May 23, 2019 5:09 pm

United are proud to announce that Ricky Sbragia has left the club by mutual consent

Another bold but cheap attempt to get the youth policy going again on a shoestring
He took over the Under 23's and had them relegated.
Having got them relegated to the second tier they have followed the same pattern as the first team which is unable to attract any players(all the young kids prefer to join City who guarantee them an education if they don't make it)
So i assume it will take them 4 or 5 months to find a cheap replacement yet again and don't forget to ask yourself who made the wrong choice to hire Ricky?
It must have been Jose as it couldn't have been Ed Woodward

Seems like they're just giving Nicky Butt full control

Maybe or maybe not
Nicky Butt smashed up the portacabin where the reserves were changing,a few weeks before the end of the season
They moved in temporarily almost a year ago whilst the Carrington dressing rooms were being modernised
Ed Woodward has been penny pinching and scratching around for that long that Nicky lost it

But that doesn't take away from who made the now proven wrong decision to hire Ricky?
Who made the now proven wrong decision to take apart the youth policy?
What are we doing to attempt to re establish the youth policy that has stood this club in great stead since the 1930's?

Or is it just Glazernonics in action ie let Ricky go and save possibly £40/50 a year and not replace him but give Nicky some sort of promise of a bonus for everybody he brings through starting in 5 years time

Ajax is valued at around 370 million pounds.. Glazers would do well if they could pull off one of their "hostile takeovers" and just use it as a feeder club, but of course they have to preserve the youth structure academy and don't touch anything on the football end.
We've spent more on players in the last a few years & it doesn't seem to pay any dividends

Now that's where you are wrong
Dividends and not football is what this club is all about
The dividends have gone up and the football has gone down
And Ed Woodward keeps telling us that the dividend(profit) is not reliant on the football

I obviously meant football dividends - on the pitch, and not the financial ones that are going straight into the leeches' pockets

I know exactly what you meant but the leeches are continueing to be a massive problem as the club continues its slide towards oblivion
There is not the slightest sign of things improving
Despite the obvious shit on the pitch and the turmoil in the club in general what has changed?
Nothing
We still don't know if DDG and Pogba will stay
We don't know what is happening to the useless and greedy bastards that are Lukaku and Sanchez
We don't know what is happening with Mata
There is no director of football, just mention of a possible committee of ex players with minimal contacts
There is no youth policy and no youth leaders
All a total fornicate up

We are hanging on at the European having a laugh table with no ambition to achieve more
Not only that but i can see Wolves possibly improving next year and if Newcastle do get rid of Mike Ashley as looks probable then the Arab money might well take Newcastle from shit to a UEFA place
What would that mean for United?
Well in football quality terms nothing as these owners don't give a shit
In football terms expect some seriously lucrative pre season tours,Christmas tours and International break tours to the Far East
