Somehow, unbelievably, DDG keeps out Suarez after a fantastic approach by Barca where Messi left Jones out to dry about 3 times.

So all we have to do is keep Barca from scoring get and score three goals.

Piece of cake.

Commentary saying that our midfield is far too static and passive.
I could not agree more.

Save to say we got played off the park yet again.

It's no. Shame. Losing. Like that that Messi wonder goal.and.cortinho scorcher. Yet again we got played off the park.

Looks like the unbeaten run at the Camp. Nou continues. We had hope but it ended with Messi.

Well that was embarrassing.

Anyone got £200m they don't need for Ed to spend ? We need to replace some dead wood, not give it new contracts.

For me they can ship Pogba out, we wont miss him in the games that matter, he seems to disappear.

Taxis for;
Young
Sanchez
Jones
Smalling
Lindgaard
Rashford
Martial
Lukaku
Pogba

Not just because of this game, but because I don't think they are good enough to take us where we need to be to challenge the likes of Barca, City and dare I say Liverpool.

Sigmar:

Full panic mode, eh? :-)
Yep, we have a lot to do, but you don't judge teams or players on one game, and especially not one against one of the best teams in the world when they are on song.

Young, yep, but not just on tonight's performance.

We have a lot to do, and the gap is not going to be bridged in one lot of transfers, or even two.

Lets see after Everton, who are more on our level than Barca

you can't judge a team on one game

That's 5 losses out of the last 7 and those we didn't get beat in we were hanging on against such as the mighty Watford and West Ham
We've had some dickings as well as tonight such as Wolves twice
The Berties still to come and probably another dicking
But don't panic as this club will be well backed

You wait and see

I agree with Sigmar that we need a bus load of players
Not just the 10 he mentions but squad players and young kids coming out of a currently non existent youth policy

10 players alone at £40m/50m each is £400m to £500m

Does anybody seriously think that amount will be available
FFS smell the roses

So now the serious choices which we once would have laughed at
Who do you want to win the Champions league.City,Liverpool or Spurs
Who do you want to win the Premier league-City or liverpool
I want to throw up as does every United fan i know
So what will the summer bring a coz we iz a shitty team with very little hope or even ambition for anything other than finding a toilet paper sponsor

I'm not judging it on one game, we were outclassed last week, we struggled against a West ham side we should have beaten easily, we lost to Wolves ...twice, 5 defeats in 7, shows the honeymoon is over. Ole needs to be supported by the board with investment, not the continuation of players like Young, Jones and Smalling.
We need to send out the signal that second class performances for first class wages is not acceptable at the club, we have too many wage thieves, and hair style prima-donnas, even Rashford has been lulled into the playboy culture buy Pogba, they need bringing down to earth.

I think if the team were any more down after this game they would crash through the earth, and need bringing up, not down.
Jesse after the game in the post match was really hurting, and I am sure the rest were.
The look on DDG's face after his mistake!

IMO they need to calm down if anything, they were trying too hard and panicking instead of being measured for the final ball.

We do have major need to improve our squad by buys though.

I can't see we are worse than the Pool were at the start of Klopp's reign, we just need to carefully put together a squad after all the chopping and changing of managers and hence targets.

You are being far too kind, after a performance like that they need a rollocking, in days past they would all ( save a couple) been on the transfer list and sold to the first bidder to make a statement to the rest of the squad, that statement is that it's a privilege to play for this club, one that can be taken away from you at any time.
Lindgard and Rashford have suffered since Pogba arrived, he is a bad influence, and we need to fornicate him off ASAP, I've seen it with youngsters in the services, Pogba needs to be taken down a peg or two.

', in days past they would all ( save a couple) been on the transfer list and sold to the first bidder to make a statement to the rest of the squad,'

Perhaps you would give an example of when after a game like that 9 players were transferred out in the summer?

It doesn't happen, Sigmar, and it has never happened.

And if it did, that would be no way to create a new squad.

Yeah, it is a disappointment, and as Ole said shows we are a couple of levels off where we need to be, but that is no reason to write off most of the team any more than we would write off DDG because of his howler.

Having said that, my biggest disappointment was with Pogba.

We just can't seem to get him playing most of the time the way he does for France.
