Preview

Although we lost against Barca our. Performance was good. We need to win this game or it's probably game over for the UCL spots.

We needed a performance or something to jump start the Ole season and this game against Barca was it.

I mean we had more territorial advantage in the Barca game. The question is which midfield do we pick. Are most of the midfielders fit now.

I expect us to have way more possession of the ball and sharpen up our finishing skills. If there is one thing that has been letting us down is finishing.

Player to watch: Anthony Martial, just came back from injury will be looking to impress.

DDG

Dalot. Smalling. Lindelof. Shaw

M Tommy. Pierra. Pogba

Lingaard. Rashford. Martial

Subs: Remero, Fred, Matic, Herrera, Young, Jones.

Prediction : Home win. If the Barca performance is anything to go by then we swat WH aside.

4-0

Personally I would go 4-4-2 with Mata in midfield instead of Pogba, Lindgard dropping back. Hererra is classed as a severe doubt, so can't see him making the bench at all.
West Ham have only won two of the last five and have gone two defeats on the trot, mid table team with not a lot to play for, they should be easy pickings for three points, especially with Nasri and Wilshire listed as severe doubts.
Not sure about 4-0 even at OT, that would be asking a lot of team that can't score easy goals. I think we will win, but struggle to score more than 2.

I watched West Ham get beat at home by Everton two weeks ago
To quote a forum member "they are a shitty team a coz they have bad players"
When the centre forward wants to leave and is not performing and his back up is the piss poor pea you should have nothing to worry about
With our defence who knows!!

If this was City or Liverpool playing West Ham you would expect 6 goals
As it's United expect 3 but also expect to see a strong motivated performance from Rice who United are rumoured to be trying to get cheap to replace one of Herrara,Mata and Pogba

We can't play or have as subsistutes Shaw or Young coz they iz both suspended
Talk is possibly Damian and Blind
Now that's positive isn't it?

Must be a positive if Ajax was willing to loan us Blind
Wonder if they'd be amenable to loaning us Frenkie de Jong as well

No mess run up and Pogba scores!

We don't deserve to be ahead, and should be 1-0 down as the WH goal was not offside, but I'll take it!

We were darn lucky when WH had a corner - any touch and it would have been in.

Fred is doing a solid job

Mata isn't.

Nor is Martial.
