HT 0-0

We are leading 3 - 1 on injuries.

Oliver need to use the half time to look over the calls he has made and NOT made.

Ole will get a lot of stick for bringing o Lingard instead of Sanchez but with hindsight everyone is a genius. Jesse came so close to making it work.

I'd trust a half fit Lingard over Sanchez for 75 mins any day of the week.

0-0 full time.

I'll take that point given the injuries.

I cannot remember being any prouder of a United team than the one than we played today. Every last one of them, including the subs, gave all that they had and then some. If anyone was going win that game it was us, what an effort.

Perhaps, but we were up against it from the start.

Best thing I can say about that is that it reminded me so much of those games under SAF when all the odds and gods were against us but we still battled on to the very end to get a result. Those 2 points lost may cost the dippers the league :)

Terrific point.
The tea lady Ole was forced to bring on as substitute played a blinder, and the longer it went on the less the pool looked like scoring.

What happened to one of the best attacks in Europe?
We snuffed them out, was what happened, with Shaw deservedly MOM.

Shame that has knocked us down to fifth, but I'll take that game in those circumstances.

I hope Rash has not damaged himself by gamely playing on.

Pogba did not shine as much as usual, perhaps he was too conscious of the need to concentrate on defence to play freely?

And it could not have helped knowing that Rash was restricted in getting to where he would normally be.

Yeah, have to say that I thought McTominay and Pereira did brilliantly.

Yeah, they did very well.

Pogba was probably down to what you said Dave, nowt flashy, but a good solid shift.

Ole was saying how sloppy we were first half with so many misplaced passes - he said it was as bad as he has seen us.
Fair enough, I suppose, although I did not really notice it too much after the near disaster at the start.

The rest of the half was so disrupted by injuries that I suppose I gave them a pass, especially as the Pool attack looked quite dangerous at the beginning.

The crowd and the singing were fantastic as well, as least it looked it on the box.
If there were any prawn sandwiches around, they must have gobbled them fast and did not let them hinder their song.
