Preview :

After brushing Chelski aside in the FA Cup 5th round this is the cream of the crop of the season.

It's the biggest match and of the league and we surely want to keep our unbeaten domestic record under Ole.

This is a big game for big players and you can bet your bottom dollar that Ole hasn't given up on Champions League qualification.

I think the team will be similar to what we played against Chelsea and of coz we will probably need Alexis to come off the bench.

Or maybe Alexis gets a start coz he will have to start against PSG given the two week injury of Lingaard and Martial.

This is going to be a revenge game for Shaqiri's lucky goals and of coz this will put daylight between us and Chelsea.

Arsenal can overtake us should we not win. So there is a lot at stake in this match. The team we play is the team we will stick with minus pogba for the defining champions league game.

Player to watch: Sanchez he will want to impress pre Paris.

DDG

Young. Smalling. Lindelof. Shaw

Herrera. Matic. Pogba

Sanchez/Mata. Lukaku. Rashford

Subs: Romero, Rojo, Mctomanny, Bailly, Fred, Pierra.

Prediction: Home win. Man Utd to extract revenge against Liverpool 2-0.

We also have 3 games before Paris game. Ole will instill that it's about who wants it more.

I expect Ole learned a lot. We have to take this to the next level. Let's dish out hell against the pile.

If we can play like we did against Chelsea, then three more points are on the cards, plus we put a real dent in their title challenge, the only issue being we will probably hand it to the Berties by beating them.
I can't see Ole wanting to change the team much, DDG in for Romero

I would like to think that Ole already had this game circled on his calendar; and as soon as Woodward contacted him about taking over, he started getting ready for it.

The injuries to Martial and Lingard are going to be critical, coming back too quickly from a soft tissue injury and a reoccurrence is a definite possibility being forced into making substitutions is never a good thing. Unless they are absolutely certain that they can give 100% for 90+ minutes I cannot see them starting.

I do not think we will see a Mourinho “master class” bus parking, instead I’ll borrow from a UnitedRant podcast who predicted that Ole might “park the Ferrari" - with the engine running. Give LFC all the possession they want as long as it’s around the halfway line, do not allow them to run through the center of the pitch without being challenged and on every turnover get them moving backwards.

DeGea
Young Smalling Lindelöf Shaw
Matic
Herrera Pogba
Sanchez
Lukaku Rashford

Sanchez remains a quality player, and one who is clearly liking the way the team runs under Ole.

I think that Ole is right, and that he will click on in one of the matches.

Lets hope it is Sunday.

Martial & Lingard are listed as needing late fitness tests.
We should be the fitter team having had a lot longer to recover after the exertions at the bridge, i think we can turn them over, Spurs losing must have given the lads a boost, plus we are on the best form out of the top four.

Solskjaer has told MUTV that he will be out for a couple of weeks, after an injury sustained in training. United play five times in the next 15 days, with fixtures after today against Crystal Palace (a), Southampton (h), Paris St-Germain (a) and Arsenal (a).

I guess you have to play the hand you've been dealt. Would be a real bonus to have Matic back for the Arsenal game.

Weird how reliant we seem to be on Matic, given that he;s had a mediocre season. Need to fill that position urgently this summer. Fingers crossed for a vital win today!!!!

Possibly. 2 subs after 25 minutes is never good. Especially when there are more walking wounded.
