New Deals

Thu Jan 31, 2019 7:40 pm

No doubt raycreative will blame Ed Woodward for getting Martial and De Gea to sign new five year deals now that the port and cheese has gone.

i didn't realise DDG had signed a new deal
You must have inside knowledge
Well done!! i wish i had

It's not everybody who can sign a player he already has is it
Liverpool never extend players contracts who are playing well
Neither do the Berties
Even Spurs can't get Kane to sign an extended contract can they

Well done Ed Woodward
Well done for signing no new players in the transfer market
Well done for getting rid of Fellaini and using the £10m you got for him plus the saving of his wages,at a reported £175k a week to fund what you alrdeady had in Martial and probbaly DDG
You have given the usual smoke and mirrors illusion that the team has moved forward when actually it hasn't
A few gullible people like Sigmar will probably buy into the trick though

I await the abuse

It is no illusion that we have a new signing in the Marriott Hotel group to go alongside the Thomas Cook branch

According to all reports the deal had been signed. Interesting timing to announce it on deadline day to deflect from the fact we showed fornicate all ambition again this January.

Were 3 points off 4th and in 2 competitions against 2 very good sides, why are we giving up on the year (AGAIN)

Once again the argument goes right over your head, and you manage to twist something positive into a negative, that very clever, it must take hours of thought process for you to do that.
Those two players had refused to sign new contracts, point blank refused, in DDG's case they had to exercise his one year option to stop him talking to other clubs or he could have left in January, you forget to mention that.
Jose gets the elbow and he signs a new five year deal, coincidence ?
Martial was the same, ready to move on, now he has a new five year deal

Fellaini was a passenger, and rightly so he was moved on, kif you believe we should have signed him in the first place you're a bigger fool than you make it to be.
As for the Jnauary window, I'm not disappointed, because I didn't expect us to sign anyone with the turnaround in form we have had, aand it may have escaped your notice that as far as the Prem was concerned, only these deals have been confirmed

There are a lot more 'outs' than 'in' and very little activity from the top six clubs.
Most clubs agree that Janaury is not the time to get top players in, simply because most of the time they fail to make any difference, it's better to wait until the summer.
