On the 6th of February 1958, a plane carrying 44 passengers crashed after refuelling at Munich Airport, Germany. The accident claimed the lives of 23 people, among them 8 Manchester United footballers and 3 club officials. The young Red Devils had been tipped to dominate European football - they were the flowers of Manchester, 'The Busby Babes'.
We will never forget.
