2014-15 NFL season

Fri Sep 05, 2014 4:17 am

Seahawks-Packers opening night kick-off. Beast Mode is running all over these Packers.

We're 48 minutes into this game, and still, Aaron Rodgers hasn't thrown the ball Richard Sherman's way..

If anyone was keeping score...ZERO passes were thrown Richard Sherman's way.

Seattle were phenomenal tonight. They played like champions, they looked like champions. Hard to bet against them from being only the 3rd team in the last 20 years to win back-to-back Super Bowls.

Think Richard Sherman can get used to that this year

Tough place to go first up, but wow Packers shot themselves in the foot with those penalties. Every time they pulled off a big play, a flag was thrown

niners won against the cowboys, great 1st half. 2nd half - boring and the refs made it a game. :)

with all these Ray Rice issues, media is really milking more out of it than the actual game itself.

Lovie Smith got the full dose of reality of just exactly the shit hes working with this year. Life long friends with Devon Hester, begged the club to go out and get him and they couldnt give him half of what Atlanta gave him

That was horrible to watch, Atlanta could have put a lot more up if they wanted to. Heart breaking to see Lovie Smith have to go through that, some of those turnover you wouldnt see in high school football

Finally saw the Cowboys-Seahawks game. If it wasn’t for special teams, Seattle might not have had a touchdown all game. Incredible. Bryant had Sherman’s number all game. Haven’t seen them this good defensively in a long time. Shocking since they’re doing it without Sean Lee!

Cowboys ran the ball too. I was shaking my head all along given that Seahawks have the best run defense in the league. Murray had 115 rushing yards by himself lol. Just a stunning performance overall.

Repeat of the NFC championship game. Opponents have had their boots on the Seahawks throats in both games, then failed to kill them off. That will always kill you in one-off matches!

That was the worst play call in Super Bowl history. You have Lynch on the field with the ball on the one yard line and 40 secs left and you throw the ball rather than run it through him. Unbelievable.

Some really incredible celebrations scenes here though. Bit surreal to be part of it!

I don't watch handegg, but I caught a bit of the game. Not knowing anything about the game even I was like, why the hell wouldn't you run that? What a final, between that catch on the ground and shitting the bed at the last yard... you couldn't write a better script.

Now hopefully New England is stripped of the title for cheating.

If you dont know anything about the game, why are you so adamant they should be stripped of the title? :P

Because to be fair, they did cheat, just like they did when they wont it last time :P

Although even if guilty the worst punishment they get is like a 3rd round draft pick so meh

Anyway as much as I cant fornicate stand New England, you do have to laugh at Seattle. What a bunch of arrogant pompous flogs who deserve everything they got. Have you ever seen a team of gloaters or arrogant self righteous pricks who spend more time taunting their opposition than praising their own. Same with Lynch acting like hes too good for the world to give any sort of interview

And dont get me started about their fans . When they opened their stadium it didnt sell out for 18 months until United played there but all of a sudden they get good under Pete Carroll and this whole best fans in the league 12th man bullshit starts.

Laughable the way they lost it, because no team has ever thrown away 10 point deficit in the 4th quarter and no team has ever fornicate up a play call worse than that. You have the best running back in football and you throw it?

Still, one of the better superbowls you will see and really was one fantastic season. Did anyone see NE winning this after what Kansas did to them back in October?

And who says they cheated? Its a stupid argument really, only being brought up because they won handsomely in the AFC Championship game.

There's actually 0 evidence of it. The balls weren't measured before the game when the ref "inspects" them.
